The Standard Manual Adjustable Jack Plate is designed for outboard motors up to 30hp (without factory trim and tilt), with an enhanced gear ratio for effortless, precise motor lifting.

Compatible with:

  • Outboard motors up to 30 hp, if:
    • No factory electric trim and tilt, and
    • No manual tilt gas shock assist
  • Outboard motors 0–20 hp with factory electric trim and tilt

Not Compatible with:

  • 25–30 hp motors with factory electric trim and tilt and any motor with manual tilt gas shock assist
  • Any motor with mounting brackets wider than 10 ¾ inches
  • If your motor mounting brackets are wider than 10 ¾ inches, you will need to purchase the Large Unit

In those cases, use the Large Unit instead:

  • If your motor is 25-30 hp and has factory electric trim and tilt or manual tilt gas shock assist
  • If your motor’s mounting brackets are wider than 10 ¾ inches

    A Practical Tool For Those of Us Who Run Shallow

    Here on the Lower Wisconsin River, with its sandy shoals that move all the time and plenty of skinny and rapidly disappearing water, some people run outboard jets. But I often fish alone, and in some pretty hairy spots with no cell reception and want to be able to manhandle my jonboat off the sandbar if I have to. The added weight of extra horsepower needed by the jet and things like power tilt and trim are not desirable. Getting stuck happens sometimes here, to everybody, really. With negligible added weight, the On The Fly Jackplate gives me excellent control as loads shift in the boat. I bring a friend, well, that lifts the back of the boat up a bit and I may have to drop down a bit. In higher or deeper water, I can drip it down and dig in a little bit more.
